After dismantling the bank walls in need of rehabilitation, an ecologically effective shallow bank was created. The western section of the wall, which is in good condition, was preserved as a seating edge. Otherwise, the course of the bank was adapted, the terrain was flattened and newly laid out as a meadow. A shallow gravel beach was created in the area of the mid-water level.
The spacious playground and sunbathing lawn was supplemented with shady trees and seating in the peripheral areas. Swimming in the deeper water is made easier by a new bathing jetty with integrated access for stand-up paddling. At the same time, the measure has created new habitat for a variety of plants and animals.
Lake access Lido
On the occasion of the renovation of the shore walls, the dilapidated structures were dismantled and a near-natural shallow shore was created, which can be used by the population as a bathing beach and at the same time offers a diverse habitat for flora and fauna.
