Am Dorfanger primary school center

A linear boulevard in the open spaces will connect the new school and gymnasium with the existing school and day-care buildings and enliven them. The surrounding open space will be extensively developed and all rainwater will be infiltrated on site via open troughs and infiltration trenches.

The concept of the present design takes up the idea of the "Angers" - the creation of a central place to stay between the buildings. The central access axis is designed as a boulevard and functions both as a distributor and as a central place to stay on the school grounds. The individual sub-areas around sports in the north, the refectory, play area and after-school care centre, as well as the new sports area in the south, nestle up against the boulevard. The boulevard is dedicated in sections to the themes of sport, play and meeting and thus responds to the adjacent sub-areas. The new building on Mittelstraße creates the new entrance area in the east with the forecourt. The foyer is followed by the spacious terrace of the cafeteria, which also leads onto the boulevard. This is followed to the south by the newly developed sports area around the multifunctional sports field including the 50 m running track and the circular track.
